They will also need a towel, underwear, and a hairbrush. If your child wears goggles or needs hair ties for long hair, please send them. Students are sometimes hungrier on swimming days, please send your child with extra snacks or a bigger lunch during this week.
- Patrols - A patrol training schedule was sent home today. Please review it with your child to make sure they are aware of their scheduled days and times.
- Room 5 will be welcoming a student teacher, Alexandra Mahler starting Nov 17 from St. Mary’s University. She will be in our classroom until Dec 4 and return in the spring. We are very excited for Ms. Mahler to join our classroom and share her expertise with us!
- Indoor/Outdoor Shoes – Snow is here! If your child does not have indoor and outdoor shoes, they won’t be allowed out for recess to help keep our classroom and school clean.
Learning Intention of Week: Family Friday
Students were dispersed into cross-grade groups across the school today for our first Family Friday. They spent time getting to know one another doing various games and activities with their assigned teacher. This time is meant for students from k-6 to get to know one another and share learning experiences together. Family Friday’s will happen once a month where students will continue to get to know their group.
